On March 29th 2008, the AAA Midget Buffaloes and head coach James Poole won the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey Championship Series 3 -1 against the Edmonton Canadians. The Buffs will now host the Pacific Regional Championships at the Acadia Recreation Complex (240 90 Ave SE) this weekend. The Pacific Regional Championships will be a best-of-three series with the Alberta Midget AAA Champion (Calgary Buffaloes) vs. the BC Midget AAA Champion (Cariboo Cougars).
Game times are as follows:
Friday April 4th, 7:15pm
Saturday April 5th, 7:15pm
Sunday April 6th, 2:15pm
The winner will advance to the Telus Cup in Arnprior, Ont from April 21st to April 27th.
