The NSD School Jr. and Sr. High Hockey and Soccer programs are available to male and female students in the Calgary Public School System. The program offers students the opportunity to earn school credit, improve their Hockey or Soccer skills, fitness levels, learn teamwork and leadership, and become active contributing members of the community. In keeping with the goals of CBE and NSD, the program is a healthy complement to academic and community activities for students.

  • Lord Beaverbrook Sr. High School
  • Bowness Sr. High School

The course will involve on and off ice or field training as well as classroom sessions including coaching and lifestyle instruction to build confidence and self-esteem. The course will focus on improving each student's core Hockey or Soccer skills and develop basic principals of play and training in a competitive (but supportive and fair) environment. On and off the ice or field, the course will integrate appropriate curriculum requirements and training methods for each grade of students.
