Program for Excellence (PFE) is a personal coaching program designed to compliment players’ development with their respective community/quadrant team. PFE is geared towards players that are truly committed to pursuing excellence in the sport of hockey and it has been designed as an alternative to school programs.
NSD’s professional hockey coaching staff will work with each player on-ice and focus solely on technical skill and individual tactical development.
On-ice sessions will focus on a progressive training plan improving players’ core skills at the onset of the program. As core skills improve, progressions will take place throughout the year to improve players’ ability at thinking and executing while combining skill speeds. Every practice will include time dedicated to working position specific skills.
