The NSD 1996 Titans have earned the Team of the Month honors for winning not one, but three major tournaments this spring.

In May, the team prepared for the Alberta Champions Cup in Edmonton and won their division with a very exciting final game against the Canadian Pride.

The team continued to develop under the great coaching of James Poole preparing to win their second tournament in The Selects tournament in Airdrie – a nice win against their rivals the Jr. Dinos (3rd win of the season against the Jr. Dinos).

Fresh off this win, the Titans went on to the final tournament of the season, the Top Guns tournament in Chestemere, where the team produced another tournament win, the Triple Crown. The final again won against the Canadian Pride.

The players were such a cohesive group coupled with their coach James Poole, Director of Hockey Development at NSD, along with some very dedicated parents. It was a memorable season for sure.
